Hotel based in Salamanca qtr. Rooms small and basic but do have aircon. Staff helpful and friendly. Restaurant basic, breakfast continental only, no meals served lunch or dinner on weekends.

As a person from London I would have liked a kettle in my room to make tea. Most hotels provide those now. otherwise everything fine.

This hotel is located in a mainly residential area very close to 2 metro stops which made travelling around very easy. The room was clean and comfortable and although the hotel is on quite a busy road intersection our room was quiet with the window closed. We had air conditioning and the room was serviced each day. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English. Ideal for a city break.

Pleasant hotel in Salamancer qtr. Double room ok but single room is very small as is the ensuite. No cafeteria service after breakfast at the weekends is a little annoying although you are always within walking distance of a Spanish tapas bar.

Very central, small hotel. Very clean with very helpful and accomodating staff but not all on reception desk spoke english. Tea and coffee making facilities were not in room but available on request as were , laundry and iron. The decor in the room was dated and needs upgrading but bathroom was up to par. Breakfast was adequate and the hotel provides lunch and dinner if required. Because of its location in central Madrid at a junction it could be a little noisy but all in all we enjoyed our stay and got used to the hustle and bustle of city traffic very quickly.

The hotel was quite old. We stayed in a double room on the 7th floor with old aluminium sliding doors, which weren't very good in keeping the cold out. Heating system was old and noisy. Breakfast was minimal, not to say poor.

Metro is very close which makes the hotel 10 minutes from the city center. Rooms are spotless all with balcony and the air conditioning was more than welcome in September.

Its off city centre. But there are a lot of squares and tapas bars that the Spanish use themselves. Small room but for a single traveller or a weekend break or if you are noving onto somewhere else ideal.

BREAKFAST AND DINNER NOT THE BEST WESTERN STANDARD
