Exceptional hotel, breakfast was buffet and more than one could ever want. The position is first class metres from the Metro which is arguably the best in the world. No need for cabs.

A very good hotel in a perfect location with good access to the subway and with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The Bauza is a good hotel, with a convenient location. The rooms are well decorated in a modern fashion, and a nice feature of the hotel is their library, where you have free internet access, or you can just chill on one of the sofas.

Excellent modern hotel in a good location. Underground station just a few metres away. Friendly staff, superb buffet breakfast. This hotel really deserves its four stars.

All staff were friendly and helpful providing advice and organising reservations etc. when requested. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I would recommend this hotel not only for value for money but also for its convenient location in the Salamanca area.

Bauza Hotel Madrid was excellent during my stay for 5 nights in July 2005. The Hotel is in a great location, with a metro stop almost right at the door and the major department store, the Corte Ingles, is only one block away. The hotel is relatively new, very well kept, has free internet access in the rooms, excellect service and friendly and knowledgeable staff. The buffet breakfast was extremely varied and of excellect quality. The hotel also has a small gym. I would recommend the hotel for anyone, although it might not be ideal for small children, and I would definitely consider staying there again.

good standard hotel, although i would say it was more of a very good 3 star instead of a 4 star. no view with our room unfortunately and room on the small side, but we didnt spend much time there, just to sleep. Nice location for metro and nice restaurants and some tapas bars, check out the geographic club just around the corner and retiro park is gorgeous. friendly staff and great breakfast as mentioned before
