In spite of the high ratings on measured criteria, there were a couple of significant negatives. First, $20 per night for parking. Second, poor elevator service. (Too few elevators, limited access.) Finally, there was not much of a social atmosphere -- no particularly inviting place to hang out.

They upgraded us to a suite for free because they had no more rooms with a king bed. It was a great location (in the middle of downtown LA). The only bad thing was the $20 valet parking fee.

When we arrived, the bathroom floor was a little dirty (i.e. there were hairs on the bathroom floor which was a bit disgusting) The concierge wasn't so helpful when we were looking for some suggestions for places to go. However, overall, the stay was nice
