We Stayed here for 2 nights excellent service and room,although work been done recently to update rooms and is ongoing we never had any disruption from builders no noise.Staff all very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again most definately.

When we were there, the hotel was undergoing renovation so it was noisy. The hotelclub should put the information on the website whenever a hotel is undergoing renovation so that those who are booking are well informed. The bath towels are clean and still white. The comforter is very old with holes on them. I never used the comforter because it feels like I will itch all over if I use it. The bed linens and pillows are clean however and no funny smell.

Having checked in we were pointed in the general direction of the elevators, no mention was made that we would be passing through renovations to get to the elevator. Plastic sheeting on the ground, paint splashed on bedroom doors etc. Not the most welcoming view on my first visit to LA. Having got to the room we decided to make coffee as the room comes with coffee maker, to find 1 sachet of coffee, 1 sachet of creamer and no stir sticks/ spoons. A little awkward when there are 2 guests in a room. On the day of departure housekeeping came to our room at 9.15 ( thankfully we were up as she let herself in) to say she needed to clean the room as we were leaving that day. I advised her we would be leaving soon and she could do it then. On arrival at the checkout desk, considering we had paid in advance, we were kept standing at the counter while the desk clerk carried on 2 conversations on the telephone. Not somewhere I would rush back too
