I thought the hotel was quite satisfactory for a 2-star rating. The reception staff were friendly and helpful; there was a very efficient lift service; the buffet breakfast (continental) was adequate; bathroom towels were replaced each day. There were some minor irritations, such as no toilet-roll holder; no TV remote control in room; squeaking doors in windy weather; thin walls between rooms; a small en-suite area.

Staff were very pleasant and very helpful but the hotel itself is in need of a major refurbishment and general cleaning. Very poor quality hotel filthy in places. The heating in the Hotel was set too high creating a stuffy and very uncomfortable environment.
