We were delighted with the hotel. The service was excellent, location perfect, and the room lovely. We have nothing but kudos for the Royal Horseguards.

Gr8 locatn-let down in value. Paid extra $ as treat & expect upmarket hotel&high standards. Classic engl feel, beaut buildng, piano nice, nice timberwrk but poorly maint. Bad: booking wrong, sink had hair, mouldy shwer, doorman bad, staff foreign-when asked for refill of tea supplies, made a pot of hot choc (made frm packet mix & cost 7GBP (about $20AUD). Checkout bill query-couldn't work out as the computr was conv 'down'. 2 ph calls 24GBP ($60AUD!). other lady chargd 98GBP 4 dinnr didn't hav.
