Thistle Piccadilly Hotel is ideal situated near Covent garden, Soho, Chinatown etc. Prce is OK compared to what you get, very good location, good service, exp. very good sevice in in breakfastroom. A relatively expencive Breakfast not included; (that can be a minus). I would like to visit this hotel next time in London. Lars Iversen, Norway

Worst 4star hotel I have stayed in. No facilities at all. Room was small and expensive at GBP200/night. Pelmet was held up by a safety pin and there was mould between the tiles in the very dated bathroom. When I booked in they had completely the wrong address - not even the right country as I live in Bristol and they mysteriously had a Sydney address for me. Room rate on the key card was GBP135 despite the fact that I was paying GBP200.

1. general rundown appearance; suspect not enough staff. 2. Room 310 had not nearly enough drawer space, substandard blankets, faulty heat/airconditioning and a dirty headboard on one bed. One day, room not made up until midafternoon. 3. Bathroom had one glass, no washcloths and no safet mat for bath. 4. There were numerous small flies (longterm residents, we were told) in the lobby. 5. Staff willing, but not knowledgeable.
