Television not working properly this was reported and we were offered another room but at 8pm we didn't feel like moving,so the TV would be sorted next day which it wasn't,we were going out saturday so didn't check TV until sunday and we were checking out then, also radiator was cold mantinence man bled it and was ok. I am sorry if this seems petty but we had only 5 channels not 15 as you state and reception was not good on the ones we had, and as rooms are not cheap we expected every thing to be good. I look forward to your comments about this, as we did intend coming again.

We had a very comfortable stay in this hotel and enjoyed an excellent breakfast. The hotel was extremely clean though our room was on the small side. It is in an excellent location for theatres in the Covent Garden area.

Room was good but quite noisy. There were frames for secondary double glazing but no panes. Breakfast was average - tea in insulated jug was lukewarm on one morning - bacon was hard and black pudding was dry and tastleless. Location is excellent for theatres, Covent Garden shops and restaurants and South Bank concert halls etc

Excellent location. Rooms are small but with so much within walking distance, you won't want to stay in anyway!

Room was very small, general cleanliness in public areas were good but in the room it was very poor. Very disappointed with stay, will not staying again.

The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment and despite this our stay was very pleasant. The room was good if a little small, but then this is London and one has come to expect this. This is an ideal base for anyone planning a trip to a west end show.

The location can't be bettered two minutes from Covent Garden and the Royal Opera The staff were very friendly and helpful The breakfast buffet was excellent The room was clean and warm Also there were stairs not emergency ones but real carpeted stairs you could use where else where we found we had to use the lift/elevator

The Strand Palace Hotel is ideally situated in the centre of London with easy access to underground stations. The Hotel itself has a large reception area and a good sized bar area. The room was clean but small with very little drawer space for clothes if you were staying any length of time. The breakfast on the first morning was good but the second morning there was hardly anything left and we had to ask for plates. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and I would definately book there again.

The Club Room was small but clean and the location excellent for the nearby Theatre. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The reception of the hotel looks as though it has been refurbished and was very opulant. The upstairs could do with the same sort of makeover but all in all would recommend the hotel for a short trip. The room we stayed in would be too small for a week.

The only good thing about this hotel was its location. The hotel lobby looked nice enough but the room was small and dingy - I almost felt as though I had been put in the old 2nd class wing because I had not paid full rate. There was no parking, and not enough help given with loading and unloading of luggage, or advice on where to park. Travelling alone with a 4 year old, I struggled! I would not choose to stay here again, as I feel the hotel left a lot to be desired.
