A good location 1 minute from the tube and with plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. The lobby was very bright and airy however we were on the second floor and whislt the room was adequate the hotel in general needs some tlc and could do with a make over as its looking a little tired and dated plus the corridors smelt a little strange. Saying that though the restaurant Ten Table is a real gem, the food was fantastic, great value for money and excellent portion sizes. We will be visiting again as the location is spot on and only a couple of stops on the tube to Piccadilly. The staff were all very helpful and check in and out was very qucik and smooth.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and have enjoyed my stay both times. My only criticism is the lack of choice in the restaurant.

Rydges plaza has a nice restaurant - only call for complaint is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms - London was 32 degC when I was there and only had a fan to move air around the room - very hot. Single rooms are quite small as well.

The hotel uses taxi service for customers that is twice as expensive as the London black cab without informing the clients about the price. Transfer from Paddington to the hotel by black cab is GBP 7, while transfer service the hotel is using is GBP 14. This is simply unacceptable.

Really pleased with Rydges but the room was so microscopic it was unreal. Would stay there again if only for the excellent location.

A very pleasant stay, its not too big so has a friendly atmosphere. The staff were all very helpful and the location is perfect, Harrods only 10 minutes walk. I didn't try the food so can't comment. I will visit again, very good value.

Small and very hot rooms, no air-condition so the windows has to stay open if you don’t want to suffocate but there is very heavy traffic all hours so this make it difficult so sleep with the window open. I will try to find a new hotel next time

I found the street side of the hotel was noisy due to traffic. You may want to request a room on the back side of the hotel. As well, if you want a bathtub, request one early! My room had only a shower.

The Hotel is very well appointed etc., but the bedrooms are VERY,VERY Small ! I know this helps to keep the individual room rate low, but I have seen closets with more space! As I was only staying for one night ,this was not a major problem , but if I were to stay longer ,it would prove to be downright depressing.

An attractive hotel with a lot of style about it. The only quibble I would have is the small size of the single rooms.
