Cute themed bedrooms and good location. A welcome change from the soulless chains. However the rooms are quite small. 2 days was enough! No bar or dining room although continental breakfast was delivered to room. Would stay there again for short break.

Highly recommended hotel. We stayed in the 'Funky Zebra' room and the decor was pretty cool. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

I was booked to saty at Pavilion Hotel only to be moved to another hotel supposedly owned by the same company - The Four Stars Hotel. Please beware about booking Pavilion because you may not get the actual hotel you are booked. Despite this the concierge took my voucher, asked me to sign the voucher and then moved to another hotel. BE VERY CAREFUL & clarify before signing the voucher. I AM TO TALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE BOOKING.

This was a fun place to stay. It was close to the Underground subway lines which made it easy to get around London in a short amount of time. The continental breakfast was good. It consists of a bowl of cereal with milk, a croissant with jam, a muffin and a glass of orange juice. I stayed in 2 different rooms and enjoyed them both: Harlequin and Secret Garden. I would love to stay here again and try one of the other themed rooms. Each one is unique.

Hotel was not quite as funky as I was expecting from the promotional materials. Staff were polite and helpful, if not overly friendly. Still, it was good, basic accommodations. Gave me a clean, comfortable, safe place to sleep and shower in a very convenient location (with a continental breakfast delivered to my door every morning). A good deal for the price.

Small rooms, terrible bathrooms even by London standards. Tea/coffee facilities on the floor under the bench. Would not recommend it to enyone!

the hotel was dirty and in a very poor state of repair the door to our room would not lock allowing anybody to enter .we changed rooms because the shower was hanging off the wall the replacement room was a little better but the bed covers still had holes in them and power sockets were still hanging off the walls.we only stayed for two nights instead of 7. disgusting i would not send a dog or cat to stay there let alone a person.

Single room was a large closet! Portable heat with large, single-pane window allowing full air draft over sleeping single bed. No breakfast room; tray brought to your room with mediocre continental breakfast. Old decor; cigarette burns in bedspread; finger prints on mirror when I arrived and when I left 4 days later! Ran out of toilet paper; not replaced -- had to ask at desk after Housekeeping had cleaned/tidied room. Small room! Worst hotel experience in London in over 20 visits. Do not stay here! There are better hotels in the area or all over the city for similar price range and convenience to Underground.

Very handy for the railway station and staff were friendly and helpful. But was not very impressed with this supposed 'funky' style. I thought it was tatty and tacky. Very small room.

They had not reserved room for me although I had faxed them my confirmation. I was put in a very small dark basement room. Breakfast is very bad some old pastry and cornflakes everyday.

This hotel with it's familiar interior made us feel really welcome, and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. Every room had it's own decoration and was named specially after that, no room numbers were necessary.
