The hotel was immaculately clean and tidy, and very warm. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast we had was good. My only concern was the lift, which was small and a bit temperamental. It stuck once and would often take you to the wrong floor. Apart from that, this is a hotel that I would stay at again.

The hotel location is second to none, and it is reasonably priced, but be aware that the rooms are really small. Also the windows are single glazed I found my room quite noisy.

Located near Kensington Pond, it is very suitable for those who like the parks. I stayed 1 night in a small tidy room for 100pounds, had a robe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. A lot of extra service for $. However, a telephone ring did not work, I have spent extra 14 pounds for a second 3.5min talk to Russia. If I stay longer, I'd prefer a larger room. A good hotel.

It is a nice clean hotel, well refurbished, with very helpful staff but needs a little maintenance despite the general good conditions there are minor thing that change the good impression, such as a broken lighting fixture in the lift, some holes in the carpet, loose bathroom accessories. We enjoyed our breakfast and some late dinners, we liked we could have fresh air as all the windows open, even in the bathroom e.t.c We recommend it. Helena Vrettou Mech.Engineer

It is a nice charming hotel. Not too far away from everything (cuz taxi is super expensive in London). The wooden blinds in the room is a nice match to the decor to the room, but not too friendly if you decide to sleep till a little late. Breakfast is a little simple, but overall, it's not too bad.

Kensington House Hotel was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and we will be highly recommending it to our friends and family in both Australia and the UK. The manager was brilliant when my mother was not well and allowed her to have a late checkout on the day we were leaving, and all throughout our stay we felt the staff were there to help, yet were not intrusive. The rooms and decor of the whole hotel are warm and cosy - a home away from home!

Very comfortable, clean and well located hotel. I booked a double room even though i was travelling on my own and was glad i did - the singles looked scarily small. Room was small, but facilities, linen & bathroom were all of a high standard. English appeared to be a challenge for some of the staff which was a bit frustrating! I can't believe they charged 2.50 per 15 mins to use the internet/email - all other hotels that i've stayed in across the world of this standard do not charge at all.

The Kensington House Hotel was a practical place for a vacationing tourist. The hotel itself was good, but not great. We were a bit disappointed in the cleanliness of the carpets and bathrooms, but we were very impressed with the beds - extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were good as well. In researching the hotel, they promoted having rooms with balconies. In walking around the building, I did not see any balconies, but rather ledges outside of a window.
