Unfortunately the refurbished rooms have not been fully completed. We had heating problems in our rooms. The radiator leaked in the first room all over the new carpet. On a return stay aweek later the bathtub above us flooded all the electrical in our bathroom. In the room we were moved to the radiator did not work and the one in the bathroom leaked! They obviously should do a better final check when the rooms are refurbished.

Great location, but for the money thought the hotel should have air/con and minibar. When we stayed it was very warm and only had a portable fan which we ran all night. Room very stuffy and when we opened the windows to try and ventilate the traffic noise was bad. Made it hard for sleeping.

The hotel was in the final days of extensive major refurbishment. Staff coped well but there were some difficulties eg the guest elevators/lifts were inoperative & we used the staff lift. Some patrons complained this was untidy/unclean. The breakfast room was a temporary facility and didn't cope well. Delays for seating, dripping water from ceiling, etc. My room was excellent. I don't think it is really fair to rate the hotel in these conditions. My room rate was very low.

It was very hot and the hotel has no air conditioning. The fans they had were very small and the windows did not open fully. It was like sleeping in the jungle. We feel that this is a terrible choice and we were very disappointed. They put us ont he top floor which was the hottest in spite of our request that we be on a lower floor.

When I arrived at this hotel after a 12 hour flight, I was told to move to another Hilton hotel due to overbooking. I declined to accept it and insisted on staying at this hotel, and then, the receptionist miracuously found one room which was cencelled. The location of this hotel is very good, but if you expect a pleasant experience, you had not better have too high an expectation.

The hotel is in the process of refurbishing, the rooms are now contemporary, clean and fresh in appearance. I was eating out but if I had been eating in the dining room being out of action might have been a problem, however their room service is very good. The new kettles are good but they are not next to a socket so you have to physically move the whole tray to make a drink, a little thought might have resolved that.

We were given a smoking room when non smoking was requested and the room stunk - no fresh air - window opened to a vent only which was extremely noisy

When I tried to check in, I was requested, due to over-booking, to move to another Hilton Hotel in London. Since the alternative hotel was located in a less good location, I refused. Then, I was given a twin room because there heppened to be a cancellation at that timing. It was not a good experience after a 12 hr international flight from Tokyo. In light of various aspects, the room rate was over-priced. Their location is the only justifier, though.
