Close to Lambeth North underground, but if that station is closed you need to walk a bit to Waterloo. Double room was very basic and some stains on the carpet, but it was still good value for money. The [your website] rate included hot breakfast which is usually an extra charge per person. Breakfast included some hard breads, a couple basic pastries, eggs, beans, sausage, bacon, yogurt, juices.

I called the hotel 3 weeks in advance of my stay to confirm the booking was all ok and I was advised by both phone and email that there was no problem with my booking. However when we arrived late on our first night and very tired we were informed that we would have to go to another hotel on the first night and return to check in there on the following morning... I was not impressed. I left a cardigan in the other hotel and they made no effort to help me retrieve this I had to get a taxi to the other hotel myself considering they were the cause of me leaving it there in the first place I thought the least they could do was simply get a taxi to collect it.

Only takes ten minutes to walk to Big Ben from this hotel. Good value.

The hotel does not pretend to be anything it is not, which is its strength. It is comfortable , clean and efficient. Only weak point is road noise - our room's window did not close properly and the road outside is extremely noisy at all hours of the morning.

While the eating facilities in the hotel were average, there were many places to eat in easy walking distance. The hotel is very convenient for Waterloo Station and Eurostar travel, and there is also easy access to the Underground, for those wishing to travel around London itself.

very comfortable beds and generally satisfactory. Curtains inadequate to block out light. Rooms on police station side hear sirens going off as police cars leave. Doors have gap under which allows sound from corridor. In restaurant, things run out - spoons and coffee while we were there. Parking was v conveninet because we got a space in front of the hotel.
