The hotel itself is fine, location great, although awkward to find -and I know London relatively well. But when I got there, they claimed to have no record of my reservation (even though I had a confirmed booking text from this site on my phone). The guy at reception claimed the fault would be at his end, with "someone" not up dating reservations properly. I only got a room after much debate.

It's a quaint little hotel, but it's not really close to much. Overall, the service was nice and helpful, and the rooms were similar to what they were described as. There is a really good restaurant only a couple blocks away called Nandos that has tasty Latin-inspired food.

Nice hotel, based in a very quiet area. Nearest subway station (Oxford Circus) at 10 minutes walk. You can easily reach Regent st. and Oxford st.. Rooms are not so big but quite clean. Hotel staff is not very gentle but in general we haven't had problems.

The worst thing with the hotel was the breakfast. There was no milk, no fruit, no spoons, no coffee, no juice.It seemed to be only one person in the kitchen who had no time to look after if there was anything missing. The first room we got was really bad: the waterclosett was out of order and there was almost no water pressure. We got another room which was better. The carpet in the bathroom was really dirty. The employees were ok. Sorry, but I don`t think we use this hotel later when staying in London.

Unlike the comments I have read, I didn't find the hotel staff that friendly and welcoming. However we didn't have to deal with them so it wasn't too much of a problem. The hotel itself was quiet and comfortable (except for the beds). I would surely consider going back to this hotel on my next trip to London.
