Cupboard shelves above eye level filthy. Key broke in lock and night porter unable to provide master key. Given another room after one hour (02.00hrs) Basin in bathroom leaked. Stool missing slat ofRead more wood. Prices varied one day to next! Overall needs a bit of love and attention. Excellent location and charming old building.Hide

+ Lovely garden and restaurant. Quaint rooms. Like something from 18th century.
- Thought the location would be a bit better. Bit of a walk to metro and Bairro Alto. Was led to believe it was nearer.

+ didnt look much from outside but inside full of character, comfortable, cosy, and very clean room, perhaps a bit lacking on the maintenance side but that wouldnt put us off,. Would stay there again, staff very friendly and helpful.Great breakfast.

+ I really enjoyed my stay here. The decor was really beautiful and the courtyard very peaceful. The staff were very nice too.The restaurant food is particularly impressive too. All in all, one of the classiest restaurants I've ever stayed in.
