Our room was small. There was insufficient drawer space for clothes. There was only one chair for sitting. The air-conditioning was ineffective. There was no comfortable lounge area to just sit and read or talk. Not very good value. On the plus side, the location was convenient.

We were absolutely thrilled with this hotel. It was a lovely, small European gem in a superb location. Everyone was extremely helpful. We would highly recommend it and will definitely stay there again.

Very interesting decor in hotel's public areas. Good location for central Lisbon. Most staff speak English and are very helpful.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The hotel was comfortable but the rooms were quite small. Also the hotel was very hot - we think it's advertised with air conditioning but it doesn't work! Overall the hotel was nice but could do with some improvement i.e. air conditioning and bathrooms refurbished.

Stayed at SAS Lisbon also for only $10.00 more and well worth the money. Should be about $50.00 for size of room. Electricty was out for 12 hrs. w/ comment in next few minutes it will be on. Service desk per. became defensive w/ other guests when they complained instead of just apologizing. Maids do not knock when entering. Was expecting a larger room. It was OK but would not stay again or recommend.

Ärgerlich, daß Parkplatzgebühr erhoben wurde, immerhin 8 Euro pro Tag, ohne daß man daraufhingewiesen wurde. Parkplätze im übrigen außerhalb der Parkzone knapp. Zimmer sélbst renoviert, das Bad wurde wohl ausgelassen. Ruhig in den Zimmern nach hinten raus, allerdings sind diese auch sehr dunkel.Frühstück ok.

10 minutes away from Downtown, room was very small, breakfast was nothing special. It's a nice hotel to stay 1-2 days and be at a walking distance to the Marq de Pombal Sq and Downtown at the same time. Nothing if you want to stay 1 week or so though

This was my second experience with Veneza in 6 months. In late June I had spent a night in a single, which was extremely claustrophobic; but the hotel staff cheerfully pleaded no-vacancy and made no effort to offer me a room with air. This week, traveling with my adolescent son, we were surprised to be told on checking in that they had set aside for us a room with a double bed--though they had one smaller room adjacent that had a twin bed and a cot. (Again they said they were tudo completo--all filled up--and that they had not other choices; but we saw almost no one else pass through all evening long.) The room with 2 beds was almost as tiny as my room in June, and they had the courtesy to warn that the phone was erratic and would not accommodate my laptop; so we reluctantly took the room with the double bed, where at least we could log on. Staff, it should be said, is pleasant; I assume it is the management that is inflexible. Anyway, be careful with this place!
