A strong negative with this (and some other hotels in Portugal) is the access (just by simple channel selection) to pornographic videos on the hotel TV system. One should be able to go on holiday without such obnoxious intrusions. Certainly not suitable for children and teenagers.

We found this hotel to be luxurious for the rate we paid. We had a fairly large triple room as we were travelling with our son and it was great. Our son's bed was in a seperate section to our beds. Breakfast was sensational and very bountiful. Location was excellent - city centre and metro 5 minutes walk. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.

originl room allocated was very poor 702. bad decorative condition small and smelly. asked for and got an alternative which was entirely satisfactory. still some refurbishment going on. staff helpful breakfasts very good. location a little out of centre but close to excellent metro link. in general excellent value for money. note immediate area bad for shops and restaurants.

The staff was very accomodating and spoke English. Very handy coffee/ tea service in the room. Easy location for getting out of town. Not close to tourist sights.

After a few weeks in budget style accomodation this was perfect. Very well located and for 4 star was not overly expensive as have paid the same for 2 star. Facilites,room(huge)and staff were great. An oasis if you need a break and a great spot to explore Lisbon from - walk or metro around the corner (hotel carpark was free and valet service).

This is not a 4 star hotel according to the international standards. It seems to be quite old, the room service only serves breakfast and there is not even a restaurant. Although most of the staff are nice, there is not much service they can provide. For someone who expects just a clean place to sleep over, the hotel is quite alright.

Rooms are clean and clear. On the frontside there is some noise early in the morning. Double windows help, but you can't sleep with an open window. In a nice street and very helpfull staff. Will return there.

Poor matressess. Walls not insulated properly could hear noises from other rooms and hallway making it difficult to sleep at night.

Helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay. However, in spite of double-paned windows, the noise from the street was quite high, even though we were assured that there was no need for a room on the backside of the hotel because of the double windows. That was simply incorrect.

This is a First rate hotel. My husband and I cannot say enough about the desk staff, the restuarant manger , Nuno Santos and the housekeeping staff. It is a hotel that should be rated the very highest.
