Once i got to the barcelona hotel the reception clerk told me i was moved to another hotel because there was no rooms available. I booked the barcelona hotel 1 month in advance! No one did send me any email telling me i was being moved or to say sorry, so i rate their service very bad! First time i use hotelclub.net and it has been the last time.

Reception could have been more efficient and more friendly. One of the glasses in my room was sticky and smelly, though covered by a desinfectioned for you plastic shield. The restaurant was chilly (both the hall and the service). I could only bathe in the bath tub because the shower did not work. Bed linen and towels were clean and nice.

Hotel is about a block or more away from the closest subway or bus stop. The rooms looked like something out of the 60's and 70's and the mattresses on the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The room was small for the price and the elevator was very small and could hardly fit one adult with 2 suitcases. The breakfast area was nice, but I'm staying elsewhere next time.
