I had booked and payed to nights in this Hotel. But I have just moved out 3 hours after arrival. I have never spend so much money for one shower in a dirty environment. Sorry for saying that but this was a waste of money.

great location but a basic, no frills hotel.

we were booking via internet a double bed which was explained on the web page as a single bed for two persons. In Lisbon, we were located in a room with two separate single beds without any prior notice. The smell on the corridor (1st floor) was a bit heavy and required some porto wine to ovepass :) Other aspects were very positive: i.e. service and location, so overall not bad

The breakfast is too simple and every morning exactly same.

The hotel is in a great location, right next to Restauradores. However, it badly needs a refit: the room was gloomy and tatty. Small and somewhat noisy too.

I have never stayed in so badly a decorated bedroom and the bathroom must date to the 1930's. The area was disgusting with patches of pavement missing and very dirty. The noise at night was so bad myself and a friend hardly slept at all. In the breakfast room we had coffee from an machine even though there was plenty of staff, orange squash so watered we didnt drink it, noneone serves orange squash in this day and age, Even though we had paid for two nights we left after one night and went to another hotel. What a dump.

First impression from the outside was: this can't be true, but after entering we were possitively surprised. It was a bit worn but all was neat and tidy. The staff was friendly and ready to help if necessary. In spite of the nightly noise it is a good hotel for price and central location

The location of this hotel is the main reason I would recommend it. Sandwiched between Avenida da Liberdade for shopping and Barrio Alto for food/drink you can't get better. Price was fine too. Don't plan on spending much time in the hotel as rooms are small and stuffy and there is no restaurant. Breakfast is not the best but for a cheap city break it suffices as you are not far from all the cafes and restaurants. The hotel said there wa no need to sign the form ussued by Hotel Club (confimaton voucher) I wold have been happier to sign it to prove I had paid up although I can't say there were any problems when we checked out.

A very small room that had a distinct curry smell from the nearby by restaurant, although the room itself was very clean, staff in the hotel were not friendly, breakfast was poor, location near to the centre of Lisbon was very good, i would stay at this hotel again
