The facility was very satisfactory and the location of the hotel was great. However, the service was very bad. The people at the front desk were generally surly and confrontational.

The Hotel was very welcoming and comfortable and well located for sightseeing in Lisbon. Our room was great, very big and comfortable. It did get very hot during the night but we were able to open the windows which helped a lot and there was no traffic noise to keep us awake. We would recommend it to everyone. There is lots of choice of public transport and the airport bus stops close by - we didn't use a taxi once! We will definately stay at this hotel again.

We staied at this hotel for the period 09-16.08.2006. It is really classy and it can be rated for more than four stars for sure. It is situated really in the heart of Lisboa. The service was excellent! We received clean sheets every single day! The food was more than tasty and the breakfast was enormous (american boufet) anf full of various delishes things! We recommend the hotel to everybody, having in mind that the price was more than reasonable too! Thank you Fenix Hotel - we've had a fantastic stay! Daria and Georgi

Very good hotel with a very good restaurant as part of the establishment. 50 feet from the Metro station. Easy walking distance from the old heart of the city. Also, the bus stop for the major tourist area of the Torre and Mosteiro Jacobino is right around the corner(the 427 bus),

We had to change the room after a couple of days due to noise from construction work in a new building next to the hotel. It was lots of noise from machines from the same floor and from the outside. What we didn´t like at all was that we were not told about the noise in advance when we arrived. And when we informed about the noise after a couple of days, the personel in the hotel reception could not tell whether the contruction work (from 08.00-20.00) would stop during the weekend or not. Of course they knew - or should know! As the work continued on Saturday, we changed room. The new room was nice and quiet! But beware that the construction work will continue the next months, and all guests that are situated on the back side of the hotel building, will be heavy affected!

The room i got was much smaller that the one of the same time shown in the internet. I found the employees a bit cold and not really interested in what i was asking. Then, a 4 stars hotel should provide a safe (There is an oral tradition to understand how to use it!) without additional costs. The location is very good for a business and/or touristist stay
