Overrated as 5-stars once you pass the attentive doormen and imposing foyer, but overall a pleasant stay. Our room looked out on the back so was very quiet. It was clean and comfortable, if not very spacious, but the bathroom and toilet had no ventilation. Breakfast buffet somewhat unimpressive and unimaginative, while the rooftop restaurant is chronically over-priced and pretentious. The presence of a swimming pool influenced out choice of hotel for a 4-night stay but its opening hours were restricted, especially at weekends, and provision of towels was awkward and surly.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it. It's about a 10 minutes walk to Rossio so not too far from a lot of the tourist attractions. The pool isn't as big as it looked on the photo but it was plenty big enough for a morning swim. It's probably a bit more of a business hotel than a leisure one but for somewhere comfortable to come back to after a day of walking hilly Lisbon, it was great for us. We found plenty of restaurants to eat near the hotel.
