The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent bathroom, bed, bedding. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety, although the hot foods were not in line with the quality of the hotel. My main complaint was very bad Internet access - the Internet room consisted of 2 ancient computers with rather slow connections, and an intrusive nanny filter that blocked even many mainstream news pages.

we stayed on the 6th floor, rm 609 and there was a very bad smell of sewage outside in the corridor and in the bathroom the room was very claen and comfortable however. ask for a corner rm on the south side of the building on floor 10 or above to get a good view.

Excellent five-star hotel, somewhat out of town. Spacious rooms. The addition of Parking and Breakfast make it rather expensive.

For American standards, the hotel is quite a walk from the lively parts of Lisbon, but taxis are not very expensive. We loved the view of the water from our room, the room itself, and the room price. We weren't a big fan of the smoking allowed in public places or the outrageous prices at the in-house Italian restaurant, the morning brunch, or the drinks at the bar. All said, it suited our needs, and I would return.

There are better 4 star hotels than Dom Pedro. Apart from the facilities (i.e. Spa), you are better off is other hotels with better locations such as Sheraton, Sofitel (4 Star), Tivoli, Bairo Alto.

Great hotel all round, the only sticking point was the uphill walk back to the hotel from the city centre however this can hardly be considered a negative as the view from the room was fantastic....you can't have everyhting!

Breakfast was excellent with great selection of fresh fruits. Location was very good as it was a city central location. The hotel reception staff, who were most pleaseant, recommended an excellent restaurant. We were on the 17th floor and there was no traffic noise. The relaxation room on the 19th floor gave a good perspective view of the city but the refreshments were fairly basic. The concierge organised a taxi on two ocassions in the space of a minute. We asked for a twin room with separately made twin beds as we had been travelling all night but we did not get that.

Great Hotel, excellent service, we were well looked after by the staff. Its a little out of town but there is a metro line just down the road which runs all through the city so it wasnt a problem. Id love to stay there again.
