I visited Lisbon for 6 days and stayed in Comfort Inn Embaixador Hotel. The room is quiete comfortable, The hotel is not far from the town center. I preferred this hotel due to its breakfast restaurant which is in 9th floor with whole Lisbon sceneries.The breakfast is quite good.

I would have no hesitation in booking into this hotel again. It was in a great position, around 5-10 minutes walk fron the restaurant/harbour centre of Lisbon. The staff were friendly and very helpful (barman offering to make sandwich after the kitchen had closed).

The room was very noisy. Whilst the Comfort Hotel Embaixador Lisbon claims double glazed windows to prevent exterior noise, the interior noise from other rooms, the elevator, doors closing, water running in pipes, etc, was unbearable. Inside my room, I could clearly hear conversations taking place outside in the corridor. I never got a good night's sleep during my stay of 6 nights. Although the cleanliness and comfort level was good, I would not recommend to stay in this hotel.

Having to pay for the safe was not welcome. Staff at the reception were not friendly, where as Portugese are extremely friendly; the friendliest out of most Europeans. The hotel is too old needs extensive repairs for electrical and plumbing system.

Rooms very small - especially toilets. It's not possible for 2 people in a double room to move around freely.

This is the first time I've used your service. We were delighted by the hotel. With 3 star you cannot expect luxury but there was a friendly and helpful staff. We booked three rooms. 811 had a bad smell of drains and clothes drawers that couldn't be opened because the room was too small with the bed in the way of the cupboard! I've never ever experienced this before! The highlight was the breakfast room with a fine view over Lisbon. Thanks
