Teach the staff to smile.

I found hair that was not mine when I first arrived: in the bed and in the shower. The floral in the curtains and in the bed spread were awful. The air conditioner had bird feathers and it was really dirty.

The staff is helpful and nice. The location is within walking distance of the metro. It is not in the old part of town, but easy to get there. The rooms are very small with a tiny closet. The hot water has to be run for a long time if you get up early, and it won't work if you have to get up really early for a plane or something. The only ice is in the bar, so you have to remember to get ice when it is open. There are small refrigerators (min-bars), but you put your ice in there.

The room was a bit on the small side as was the bathroom. The air conditioning struggled to cope with the heat. The breakfast was very good although the dining room was very hot. The 2 lifts are very small and claustrophobic. We stayed only one night and that was all we would recommend.

Located one block from the famed Marques de Pombal. Easy to walk around and explore all that Lisbon has to offer.

It is unfortunately surrounded by road works at the present time, but even so it is on a very busy road leading to the city centre.

We booked a non-smoking double room with 1 bed in advance. On arrival, got a small smoking room with 2 beds... Stuff at the front desk is helpful but doesn't look friendly, probably because of lack of a smile. All furniture in the room is really old, especially the wardrobe which definitely needs to be replaced. Though the bathroom fixtures are OK. The restaurant is unreasonably expensive: neither food nor service is worth the bill. The hotel's parking is convenient but pricey, 12 euros/day.

Hotel very noisy and dusty due to major road construction project directly outside. Worth checking if it is completed prior to booking.

Smelly stale smoke filled room but far too noisy to keep the windows open. Breakfast mediocre with watery fruit juice. Reception staffed by grumpy old men. View of Lisbon from 10th floor now largely obscured by new buildings. Bit out of the main tourist area.

Double bed was smaller than usual. Good varied breakfast. Hotel on corner of two very busy main roads, so traffic noise was loud despite double glazing. Paint work in bedroom needed a lick. Booking in procedure was slow but staff were helpful. Needed to hire a taxi to get into town which was about a mile away.

Staff very helpful at all times. Access by car can be hard reference the traffic in Lisbon, study a good map before you arrive. Very good value for money.

Located on very noisy street. Hotel front desk staff unfriendly and broderline rude. Would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.
