When we arrived we were told that some of the floors had been flooded, and they would move us to another hotel. This hotel was unsatisfactory because they would not give us a non smoking room. The other hotel did provide cab service to and from that hotel. After Discussing the issues with the Manger they did manage to find a room for us.

Unfortunately, we spent the first 3 nights of the four booked in another hotel (which was OK but further out of town). Almirante seemed fine, but annoyed our booking was not honoured, or any reason given. There were warnings about this on various feedback websites.

The cleaning service at this hotel is the best we`ve ever experienced. But the ladies at the reception doesn`t seem to have much of a concept of politeness, nor are they very serviceminded. They also give bad directions when asked for nearest internetcafè, or supermarked. But the men at the reception were very helpful. The location is ok, it is possible to walk downtown, but a bit far. Right next to the metro, though.

They were very helpful in holding important mail until our arrival. On arrival there was a problem with no water, however they arranged for alternative accommodation two doors away in the Travel Park Hotel for one night. The second night we spent at Almirante. Dining room too small for number of guests. We had to wait in the lounge until there was a spare table. Otherwise a comfortable hotel and friendly staff.

Efficient reception. Good location near metro. Good, secure car park. Large, comfortable bed. Copious breakfast. Our visit to Lisbon was a joy and we used the hotel on 2 separate occasions, each with as much pleasure.

Hello! I have become assured that few back the cost for a night because of certain problems with the hotel room like no aircondition the hole week, it's was like a sauna and the staff bad attitude they now the problem and not say anything with check in. The manager say that gone do this transaktion to you so you can pay back to me. Cabn you confirm to me that you get this messege and contact the hotel for this. At last I can not recommend this hotel for have in your hotel list for Lisboa. I have been in Lisboa many times in different hotel and never been treet like this. Best regards Benneth Pettersson
