I would describe this hotel as good value for money, but that's about it. The first room we were given stunk of cigarette smoke, and the second had a baby cot in it, and stunk of baby powder/nappies.

Everything rated as good. Only point is the question whether or not something can be done wrt the heating. The rooms are very warm.

A super hotel which is certainly worth an extra star. Between two main railway stations with underground railway entrance immediately outside hotel and also access to tram system. A few minutes to Lille's lovely and huge city centre. Super staff, lovely buffet breakfast. A first class hotel in terms of value, and one which I shall certainly return to when visiting Northern France and also Belgium which is minutes away.

We were concerned at first with the hotel being rated as a 2 * but it was exactly what we were looking for. It was basic, but the rooms were a good size, very clean, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was really nice. It was a great location as you could get straight off the Eurostar and walk straight into the city. Would recommend it.

A hotel I would stay at again and recommend to others. It was not easy to find the best prie. Would have liked to bok direct with hotel and pay a fair rate. We got a very good deal but why via Australia?

EXCELLENT location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast superb with staff keeping a close watch on topping up food, so plenty of food was available without having to ask. Extremely neat and clean in the dining area. Great to have a reasonably priced bar fridge in the room. We will certainly be back without hesitation and have recommended this hotel to our friends and family. We had a fantastic long weekend.

This hotel is in an excellent location with pleasent staff. Breakfast if basic. the hotel does not have airconditioning. it was 30 degrees when there , so air conditioning important. Probably good value for price.
