Minor problem with the meals in the restaurant, but after bringing this tactfully to the staff's attention, was very well dealt with and we did not have a single cause to complain. A little hard to find the location, until by chance I stumbled upon a brochure saying it was in Grindewald (10-15 min drive from Launceston). No wonder I couldn't find it in Launceston - where it's advertised in some publications as being - it's not there!

Great spacious chalets. Great for families with free tennis and pool/gym facilities. The chalets are old in decor but have everything you will need.The staff are all friendly and more than welcome to assist you.

They have a very nice restaurant with a wonderful chicken ceasar salad, and I'm an expert on that. You should try it.

A very nice resort, good for relaxing. The resort staff are all very helpful and friendly when we need any assistance. The restaurant serves fantastic food and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The location in the Tamar Valley is ideal for wine appreciation and winery visits. The accomodation is most probably 3 star and need upgrading to be recognised for an extra star. The food in the dining room is very good and reasonably priced. The breakfast & reception does not open until 7.00 am, which may not be convenient for business travel.
