One of the best hotels we've stayed in. The staff is exceptionally friendly creating a very warm atmosphere. The hotel is very nicely decorated and has a great pool and based on the layout it appeared that all rooms had a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. The restaurant has excellent food and super service! We will definitely stay here again when we return to the Algarve! We highly recommend this hotel!

An excellent hotel though the room rate is pricy for the location. The staff were excellent, as was the restaurant food and drink selection. Food pricing was reasonable, if perhaps a little high, but quality of food was excellent. Hotel is easy to find - the only weak point is that it is at the top of a hilly road above the main seafront of Praia da Luz, and it is a steep walk back after an evening in town.

Small family run hotel, extremely friendly staff, food excellent especially the breakfast and a good-sized pool with a heated pool for the kids and wifes who don't like the cold water in the large pool. Only slight drawback is the steep uphill 1/2 mile walk back from the town and beach. However I would strongly recommend this hotel for couples who like a quiet holiday and for families with young children.
