Check-in time was 2:00 PM, since our bus was delayed, we have checked in at about 3:00 PM. It was a long queue, but the problem is when we were asking for our room no., the staff said that they have noRead more more room left for us. Instead they gave a room much expensive than what we reserve (but for the same price, of course). The disappointing part is, what was the use of booking when there was no room reserve at the time of our check-in? We also have this instance when we asked direction to one hotel staff (I think he has a higher position) on how to go to Petronas and make a schedule. He just simply said Take a cab from here, after that, I don't know other procedures anymore. Duh?! Petronas Tower is one of their amazing tourist spot, then how come he doesn't know. Maybe this guy should try taking up a training again. Hide
We stayed from 20th to 25th March 2008 and when we arrived were informed that there was refurbishment work being carried out on 2 floors above our room, but the disruption would be minimal and would onlyRead more be from 10.00 in the morning until 6.00 in the evening. In reality though the work started from 8.00 in the morning and was a constant banging and drilling noise. On Saturday the noise was so bad that even with the hi-fi turned way up we still couldn't drown out the sound. Reception were less than helpful. We would stay here again when the refurbishment is completed (we believe around 6 months time) but wouldn't consider it before then.Hide
When taking over the rooms, it is not clean and there is smell of tabacco in the room. We can see the rooms is not tidy properly and its done in a hurry.
Overall the hotel is good in terms of location and service.
it was very pleasent staying in Berjaya Times Square Hotel Kuala Lumpur . You can stay few days without leaving the hotel and its shopping cenetr. For sure I will be going back there.
