Hotel a little bit run down. Rugs in our room were really dirty. Sheets were changed after 1 week(!), towels every day. We were supposed to be picked up at the airport, but noone turn up. Breakfast was OK and the view from the terrace was amazing. The location was perfect. The hotel is near everything a tourist should visit in Istanbul, but far from the area were all the bars and clubs are, so not really confortable for young people. My wife and I went to this hotel in early September 2007 for a six day trip. It was our first time to Istanbul, and we were glad that the taxi they arranged was there waiting, as promised (frankly, I wasn't expecting it). The room we stayed in -- a double -- was not the biggest of rooms. In fact, the bathroom was twice the size of the room. Nonetheless, the room was comfortable, albeit small, and the views absolutely breathtaking. We had a view of the Ayasofia and of the bosphorous. You really can't beat the view, as well as the price (we paid, through Venere, about 55-60 euros a night). The staff was very helpful and will arrange trips/tours for you if needed. There's a good internet connection in the lobby if you are an internet addict, and a nice lounge area for drinking tea/coffee or just plain smoking. All I can say is that this hotel is in a very prime location, steps from all the major sites and the tram (without being so close that you hear it in your room), and clean. It's not the four seasons or the hilton, but then again, your only paying about 55-60 euros a night here, so it goes with the territory that you're not going to get 5 star luxury. You will get, if I had to estimate, 3 star comfort, at most. The breakfast is average: cucumber, olives, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs. Nothing to write home about but it fuels you up. And the terrace in which you eat is magical. The only warning is that the hotel tried to charge me for the taxi ride from the airport to to the hotel. I told them that I thought it was included. After a short debate, they agreed. I recommend this place to couples or single travelers. If you're bringing a kid, spend more and get a bigger room.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Restaurant was good and had a beautiful view of the historic area. Location was great. It was easy to walk to many places and there was a trolley down the street. The only problems were with the internet connection for emails but we managed and the staff weren't able to help with how to get to locations outside of the local area. But overall it was a good experience and I would recommend to others.

The hotel is quite nice and near the main monuments. Magnifics views from terrace. The only thing i was very surprised was that when i did the booking throught this page the hotel was shown as a 4 star Hotel and in really its a 3 star hotel. It's not very confortable and if you a re looking for an Hotel just to sleep this one is ideal.

the hotel is ok especially the view from top floor. the self assigned 4 stars rating is overestimated. this is a comfortable 2 or 3 stars hotel, not more.

The End Boutique Hotel is a nice place where to stay. The location is great and the terrace offers a beautiful view of the sorroundings. Staff is gentle and helpful. Nertherless I find there is a long way to go to reach a 4 stars hotel standard. The rooms are quiet and clean but very very simple and the furniture is old and basic. When you'll get in the room the first comment would be:"It's ok", but that's it! Anyway the location is absolutly perfect and a walking distance to many of the best places to visit. The no.1 criterion I used to choose this hotel was "Wi-Fi Internet connection in the entire property." I took this to mean inside my room also. This was not the case and we had to move to a different hotel after just 1 night. A second criterion was "Shuttle service from and/or to the airport." I asked for a shuttle on my reserevation but there was never any reply on this request. I am not clear if this is an issue with the hotel or an issue with venere.com?
