Room is not bright enough. A bit too far to walk from town centre, infrequent bus service to hotel, no bus from town after 8pm. A good choice of restaurant nearby though.

I guess you get what you paid for- but we would not rate this a three star hotel! Had a problem with part of the floor that had an incline as one entered the bathroom (an extremely small one)- nearly fell over several times! Also, we don't know who measures the distance from the railway station to the hotel- this was nearer three kms- not one!

On the main road from Interlaken to Grindlewald and the front bedrooms suffer from traffic noise.

They put us in Tel Hotel across the street from Sonne Hotel due to overbooking. But the Tel Hotel is only rated 1 star as opposed to 3 star for Sonne. We complained but was told that the facility is the same. But we insisted that we wanted to stay in Sonne then they moved to Sonne. Room inside Sonne is much better than Tel. They may have been doing this to many customers whenever they overbooked room. I don't recommend this place.
