A very comfortable hotel with English spoken fluently by very pleasent and helpfull reception staff. Internet access is available, Car parking close by. Breakfast very good. Outstanding views at a very reasonable rate. Interlaken is easily reached by road or rail.

Spectacular views from the bedroom. No air conditioning in the bedroom but it didn't seem to be a problem even although temps were in the high twenties as long as the windows were open. Bed very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were acceptable but could have had a better selection of meats. Excellent location close to rail, boat and bus stations. Great when you have a Swiss pass to use.

Excellent service, staff most helpful. We had some difficulty finding the hotel, which was up a very narrow road, and parking outside was almost non-existent. Parking was provided inside the hotel gates however.

Old but quaint. Beautiful views on river side. 10 minute walk from I-L West train station; 20-minutes from I-L Ost (main station). Evaluations are relative to other Swiss hotels in which we stayed.

A pleasant stay was unfortunately ruined by people in the room above us. They started walking up and down and seemed to be packing at 4.00 a.m., two nights in a row . The hotel has wooden floors and creaked loudly whenever the occupants above moved about. We needed to catch up on sleep when we moved to the next town

A comfortable and spacious hotel with character. A pleasant change from the uniformity of large chain hotels. Not swish or posh, but more than adequate for a family stay.

Old, but classy...somewhat worn furnishings, but VERY clean with a VERY personable, helpful staff. Triple room was big, with lots of closet space and a REAL third bed....all very comfortable. Expensive and slow Internet access available in Lobby; no Internet from room. Location is good, a bit off the beaten path, but overlooks the river connecting the lakes. Easy to walk to all parts of Interlaken. The mini-bar is in the hallway, well stocked and on the Honor system.
