Hotel is located at a good scenic location facing the mountain and river, hotel staff are friendly and the hotel is close to Interlaken west and east (OST) stations.

We stayed 4 nights at the Goldey and were very impressed. The reception staff were very helpful and gave us lots of information about the area. The hotel was spotlessly clean. We booked a double room wth third bed and expected to be a little cramped, but we had plenty of space. Loved the 'little extras' like a small fruit basket and chocolates in the room. My husband and son took advantage of the free bikes and enjoyed riding along the riverside. The only draw back was the train that passed nearby, but this stopped between 11pm and 6am so didn't really affect us. We would recommend this to anyone and would love to return one day.

Tranquil setting and exceptionally welcoming staff. I could not either fault the hotel or give the staff enough praise. If its a no nonsense get away you are looking for, stay there.

while booking we booked a double room but got a twin bed room instead. After looking we found that the hotel doesnt have double rooms. The information provided was not correct and i hope required action will be taken.

We felt that the staff could have been friendlier. Also the breakfast could do with a little variety (it is exactly the same every day !). Finally English newspapers would be welcome.

Nice view of the river! Most of the rooms have balcony, which provide a good place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery!!

This was a charming hotel right on the river, within walking distance of the east and west bahnhof. Ask for a balcony room, lovely views. We would definitely stay here again! The staff was very helpful with area suggestions--a trip to Jungfraujoch well worth the money.
