Reception staff were very efficient & friendly. Superb location - less than 10 minutes walk from ferry terminal and less than 5 minutes from main train station. Room was clean and tidy. Only downside was that it was not possible to set the air conditioning for your own room - it appeared to be centrally controlled. Would certainly stay there again if returning to Helsinki.

Excellent hotel located in the middle of Helsinki. Five minutes walk to the central station, to the townhall, to the harbour, and the shopping area is just outside the door. The hotel has two restaurants with very recommendable food and service. The hotel room had all the facilities required, very good bed, and was clean. Maybe a bit noisy for the lightest sleeper but that comes with the location. Will definitely go back.

This hotel is in an excellant location being only 5 minutes walk from the port and in the same street as the very expensive Hotel Kamp. The room was basic but comfortable. There were no tea and coffee making facilities nor a room safe. Although not a requirement to me the mini-bar was locked and required a deposit to obtain key. There are three lifts just off the reception foyer. Breakfast was the usual buffet type with wide selection of predicatable produce available and was fine. Some renovation was being undertaken to lower floors. This did not disturb us however presumably other floors will also be upgraded. The decor was a bit dated and in need of an uplift. Staff were friendly and helpful.

very comfortable and pleasant hotel - 10/10 for the comfy beds and suberb shower in our superior room !! breakfast was very pleasant, excellent central location. most enjoyable stay.

The location is superb! Seems to be in the middle of everything in Helsinki. Friendly staff and a friendly hotell. Book them if you want to be friendly to yourself......

We had a very nice stay. Our rate included a lovely breakfast. The hotel is also very conveniently located. Only a few minutes walk from the main station and also in a good spot close to all the shops. All-in-all, a very pleasant experience.

It's a busy city-center hotel, handy as it is so central but not as relaxing as some of the other more expensive hotels. If you just want a place to sleep then this hotel is fine, otherwise keep on looking.

Expensive hotel given the quality of furnishings in particular in the bathroom. Average food in restaurant with limited availability of dishes offered. Location excellent and quiet.
