THIS HOTEL IS VERY NICE LONGSIDE THE NECKAR RIVER AND IN BETWEEN THE RAILWAY STATION (1 KM AWAY) AND THE START OF THE MAIN SHOPPING STREET (1/2 KM AWAY) AND THE OLD TOWN (1 KM AWAY, WHICH IS THROUGH THE SHOPPING STREET) . GOOD BREAKFAST AND ROOMS WERE GOOD TOO.

I was delighted with this hotel. I had a lovely room overlooking the Neckar. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The location is fantastic as well. And, to top it all, I got a super price for three nights. Excellent value. I have no hesitation at all in recommending this hotel and look forward to staying there again soon.

the bedroom was very basic with no proper pillows no tea making facilities no iron or most importantly of all for me no hairdryer you cannot go out with wet hair in winter time. i was very disappointed with the room we were allocated

we highly recommend neckar hotel....very clean, delicious food, very good location.....very warm in the cold weather at xmas... very helpful with anything we asked them for......i will definately stay here again.....

Very centrally located hotel and near major attractions. Limited amount of free parking beside hotel. Typical cold buffet breakfast. Hotel is slightly dated but nevertheless was very suited to our needs.

We stayed at this hotel in room number 1 and we were a little disappointed at the room mainly because of the toilet/bathroom. The toilet was virtually impossible to use because of the width between the wall and the shower, anyone over 85 pounds would find it impossible to carry out toilet functions unless they were double jointed. There was a tv in the room but it was very small and had no remote. The veiw from the room however was great.

The location is excellent, near to city center. The interieur is really old, the room really needs a renovation, but at least it was clean. You should have an early breakfast there, because we went late and the eggs and all other warm food was gone and was not re-filled anymore.

Excellent location right in the old town, within a few minutes walk of the pedestrian zone and the castle, with free on-site parking - a bonus in this busy city. Hotel is older but has the comfortable feeling of an old friend. Not 5 star, but certainly adequate. Our twin room was both spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, warm duvets, TV (CNN in English), an additional sofa, and ensuite WC and shower. I have also stayed in the single room, which was similarly fine. Breakfast was the usual full German fare, with bacon, sausage and eggs, as well as cheeses, cold meats, muesli, a variety of breads, fruit and yogurt. Only breakfast is available, but there are many restaurants in the pedestrian zone, so lunch and dinner are no problem elsewhere. I would stay here again.

Old Hotel, but functional.Excellent position,great views. Our room was quite small.Maybe club members get the small rooms due to the good discount.Had a front room with balcony, road noise was quite high.Windows need double glazing.Breakfast was very good and so was the service.Would go back again.

We were a little disappointed with the Hotel, which looked very 'tired' and in need of decoration. The room was very clean, but spartan, with no tea-making facilities. The breakfast was OK, but the choice was quite limited. The locality was excellent and the staff were friendly, but even so I don't think we would choose this hotel again.

Although the staff were very pleasant and courteous, the hotel was very grubby and in need of a refurbishment programme. At the entrance to the room was a dirty looking childs cot and a hoover cleaner suspended on a fire extinquisher. Would not recommend.

The hotel was average. The location to Bismarck Platz was very close and within walking distance of everything. The breakfast was sufficient although smoking was allowed. The room was small, but did overlook the Neckar river, which was nice. The hotel staff was very good and took care of several special requests. I would stay here again.

I was surpriced that the hotel didnt have any aircondition. I was served Juice that was out of date, that resultet in a bad stumic ake the rest of the day.
