Really pleasant and helpful staff all around: reception, bar, breakfast... They seem to be genuinely happy to have you as a guest. Spotless and reasonably sized room and bathroom. Surprised to see yellow towels, which makes a change from the usual clinical white ones! Nicely quiet hotel. Very comfortable bed with a good firm mattress. Excellent view of Hamburg from the rooftop terrace bar. I'm travelling frequently to Hamburg. Having visited over a dozen hotels in the last six months, several of them with much higher prices. This is my best find so far. Will certainly return.

The Hotel was easy enough to find. Within walking distance of some nice restaurants and close enough to the bus and trains. Only small issue was that some of the staff did not speak very much english (which I would say is more our fault), but it could cause issues if you wanted to find out anything in any great detail. Nice, clean, spacious hotel, great value for money. Although, in summer time, a fan in the room would be nice :-)
