Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent service and accomodation. Altona is a bit of a way from the city centre, but the hotel is within the station complex so its only a couple of minutes walk to the S-Bahn and 10 minutes from the heart of Hamburg, plus they give you a free travel pass for the local transport network

As a tourist I wished I had stayed in a hotel with a cultural feel, rather than a sterile business man's hotel next to a train station. If you want a clean room and nice breakfast - that's what you get.

I am going again, as we had such a good time. The staff were very good and extremely helpful. The breakfast was really nice in a very relaxed atmosphere. The locals were also very helpful giving good advice on where to go. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. I will be back in April.
