If you're happy with little more than a bed and a shower you'll have no complaints. It was very clean, right on the Reeperbahn and great for large groups. If you want a proper hotel with any semblance of luxury look elsewhere.

Hotel Stern is a nice and clean hotel in the middle of Hamburg at Reeperbahn. There is not a lot of facilities, but the are what you need, if you only need a place to sleep.

I am a operations manager from London, I book crew in hotels all over europe. The Stern hotel is the worst we have come accross! I had to check two staff out the hotel one guy said I can''t sleep in the bed its filthy. Would someone please respond to this mail as I need some feedback. The Hotel Stern was very clean and the reception staff were very helpful. The breakfast was basic as were the rooms but if are looking for facilities then you should go for a 3 or 4 star hotel. If you are looking for a good location and just somewhere to sleep then this is probably what you are looking for. A budget no frills hotel would sum up the description.
