Well-managed hotel that doesn't show its age. The staff work hard to maintain high standards. Being adjacent to Berliner Tor metro makes for easy travel around HAmburg, but out-of-centre location means lower rates than equivalent hotel in the city centre.

the staff were awesome, gave us free drinks because our room was 10 minutes late, booked us cabs, got us late breakfast, really nice hotel.

The rooms were small. They should consider changing the beds, since the support springs of the double bed in our room had clearly fatiqued and it disturbed sleeping.

Rooms beginning to look a bit tired and could do with some upgrade. Food very good in the restaurant, Overall a good hotel but for the location and standard of rooms, considered to be a bit over-priced.

Berlin Hotel in Hamburg was a clean hotel and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful (almost to a fault!). The photographs on the website make the hotel look futuristic, however the reality is a little disappointing. The hotel obviously looked cutting-edge in the mid-90's however is beginning to look slightly dated. - That said the hotel was very clean and breakfast was excellent!

Our room was really spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was large and tasty. Location is maybe not the best in the city, but the hotel is just few steps from S- and U-bahn stations so that wasn´t any problem. Hotel staff was extremely skilled, friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at Berlin Hotel Hamburg again on our next visit and we warmly recommend it to anyone who needs accomondation in Hamburg!
