Beware of the fire exit. Doors at street level are locked. The fire police would open on arriving, was the management's comment. Bathrooms have no amenities, tiles and tub are old and very used. There might be some better rooms.

Impressive hotel, perfectly located near the heart of the city. Spacious, comfortable rooms, very clean. Very nice lounge area and bar, large breakfast buffet. Very good value for money.

Our room was in the annex, on the street side (not on the river). The noise from the opposite bar and the people walking and very loud talking kept us awake until 2:30 in the morning.

Nice hotel and very nicely situated in the very heart of the old town Graz. My room was facing the river Mur and this gave extra fine view with the river endlessly flowing down there. Spacious room with a large window you can open and thus get fresh air. Free wireless internet connection in the lobby - I understood that also in part of the rooms but not in my fourth floor. Standard breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

I visited Daz Weitzer Hotel Graz, Cultural Capital of Europe for 2003. This hotel is in a superb location on Grieskai, on the banks of the Mur. run by the Weitzer family for generations, a friendly welcome awaits you. Just a short walk across the bridge to the Old Town on the left bank. It has a restaurant, bar and coffee house. Modern comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast area with traditional Austrian fare. I loved this hotel & Graz.

Location was great - right next to the city centre. The staff were very helpful - no trouble getting a late checkout. Rooms need an upgrade, but spacious and clean. Would recommend and stay again.

No double glazing and during the two nights we stayed, weather was very hot. Rooms unbearably hot, with no air con. if you opened old fashioned non double glazed windows the noise from Arche Noha Strasse outside was unbearable, staff were very helpfull and laundry service excellent though expensive.

it was really good, fantastic service, nice rooms, but the breakfast could may be have been more and more on the buffet, we think. everything else were superb. We would stay there again! The location were also very good.

On your homepage you are claiming that reservations by internet are cheeper then regular price which turned out to be wrong. My reservation by internet costed me 103 euro/night while my conferencecolleagues paid 77 euro/night for the room next door to mine. You are misleading customers!!! and I would like an explaination. The reception has also broken suvenirs for me at the luggage room, blaiming me for turning them in that way. I think this is called bad service!

Nice location, the hotel is nice, but not really up to the 4* standards (one lamp didn't work in the room, there was only liquid soap in the bathroom, nothing else, breakfast was nothing special). Altogether we had a good time.
