The best stuff of this hotel is the great position in the heart of the city and near the Alhambra. Our room had a bad view and a small window but it was really quiet. Suggested! ___________________ Hotel in ottima posizione, camera silenziosa ma con brutta vista. Cmq consigliato!!

Third visit to Granada. Room absolutely tiny and hotel noisy (other guests and plumbing system)but location absolutely brilliant - for buses,taxis and tour bus to Alhambra. Lots of places to eat and drink in immediate area. Great walking routes from hotel to Alhambra. Staff very helpful with advice on eating out etc.

This hotel was very comfortable, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and the location was excellent. We arrived on Friday, without having made reservations at the Alhambra, and the staff was helpful in telling us how to get tickets. Besides being very near the bus stop for the Alhambra, the hotel is very near many restaurants.

We were supposed - all five of us - to stay for one night only , but , since we were very well taken care of we decided to spend one more night at the hotel and Granada !The gentleman at teh desk also made us go to Antequera for wich we are very grateful ! I myself had not been to Granda for fifty years and could only see how things have changed . I also met my old friend Raimundo Heredia Heredia from Sacro Monte . We were working to-geather in a Carmen-prodution here in Sweden fifty years ago. To meet him as guide now was really something !!!

Excellent central location with most of the sights on your doorstep (the Albaicin just behind, the cathedral down the road and the Alhambra up the hill opposite, with regular minibuses giving access). Helpful staff and my room was situated at the rear which though it had no view over the square at least meant it was very quiet.Good buffet breakfast.

My partner and I were meant to stay for 3 nights but had to check out at 2 am on our second night! Paper thin walls kept us awake on our first night. And breakfast was apalling so don't bother. I specifically asked for a non-smoking room because of a lung condition but the room they gave us stank of cigarette smoke. I kindly asked the gum-chewing lady receptionist for another room and explained why. Her attitude and impolite answer of 'There is no way I can monitor all clients if they smoke or not, and anyway we are fully booked so no chance for a room transfer' was completely unprofessional and inconsiderate. We stayed in very good hotels and modest hostels in Andalucia during this trip that Macia hotel is incomparably bad! Hotel Macia Plaza could do with a crash course in customer service! I would appreciate it if Hotel Club will remove this hotel from its recommended list.
