Not a luxury to be had in this hotel at all. Barely a bed and a place to be in Granada. Clean, you need to get down to breakfast early. If they run out of an item they do not replace it.

This Hotel looks great on the web and in parts it is. The only old bit is in reception and the ground floor corridor, the rooms are all small and modern. In our room the air conditioning did not work but the fan did. We opened the window and were severely bitten by mossies. You can buy a plug in at a supermercado. Beds very comfortable and sheets changed daily. Very good location as close to centre but quiet at night. Breakfast is OK but not good quality or very exciting. You can fill up your water bottles at the public drinking fountain to the left of the main entrance as you exit. Good fish restaurant is Olivers. Hotel restaurant too expensive. It pays to look around. Would I return probably not but my husband would.

Extremly loud untill 12.15 a.m.(!) because of young people playing soccer in the inner yard. Room 217: terrible smell in the bath room and even in the sleeping room. The rooms are overdue for a total renovation. Quality of breakfast: good

This is an excellent hotel. I found difficulty in finding my way to the hotel from Granada airport, and would have wished for a map and directions for the whole of this journey to be available on the internet. My only other criticism was of the quality of the coffee availbable at breakfast, which was dispensed from a machine, and was rather unpalatable.

Stayed in three hotels on this trip to Spain....all about the same cost. This hotel was by far the best.

This hotel is close to the centre and was formally a monastery. The building itself is beautiful but the rooms are slightly monastic in size and are quite basic. The staff are helpful and speak some English. If you want a beautiful place to stay and don't need luxury or facilities this is for you.

Good, reasonably priced hotel. It is not luxurious, but adequate and just what you need, clean, comfortable & efficient.

Because of booking problems we were transeferred to the Mercia Gran Via hotel. The staff were very helpful:the room was plesant and the central location very convienient. All of these positives were undermined by the very poor quality of the food. It was frankly the worst I have encountered in any stay and I am not a fussy foody!! My wife singled out the coffee particularly. We hope that thishotel is not typical of those you advertise.

Great location - close to the centre and very quiet at the same time. Basic room, but very clean. Friendly service.

From Gillian Stafford - United Kingdom
Hotel is well situated and staff were courteous and obliging. Our rooms, we were five couples, were clean and sufficient but backed onto the school playground where children were kicking balls around and shouting well into the evening.Only real disappointment as a group, was lack of any lounge or somewhere to meet for a drink. Photo on website of terraced restaurant looked great but in reality that was only used for functions and we could not sit in that courtyard when empty as no seats. Breakfast which was charged as an extra was also a bit of a disappointment. But on a positive note, we didn't spend much time in the hotel in that wonderful city and it was perfectly adequate for our needs.
