My overall review is good. The staff were very helpful and polite. The rooms were clean and nice, shower was good as well. Good central location.

I have bitter experianced staying in the hotel as I was pickpocketed at a nearby shop by the hotel. Although I put my wallet in the safe place the pickpocket able to steal my wallet. This is not a good image of Spain if the people start stealing or picpocket from tourist or foreigner. The hotel does not help me in any way and never show any symphaty to me. I learned that people in Spain is not friendly as in other country in Europe.

Stayed at the hotel in connection with a conference in Granada. Was quite surprised about the reception staff, who were not particularly friendly. Single Rooms are small, but adequate if you don't plan to stay for too long. Breakfast was fine. Location is top, really, it smack in the middle of almost anything, and within walking distances of, again, almost anything :-)

good hotel in the middle of Granada, breakfast can be improved if they protect it against busloads of people how are plundering the buffet in the morning The double beds are verry small Route information must be improved , there are 4 ore more Macia hotels in Granada so read the signs carefully ,it cost us more than an hour to find it , the one way traffic system was by our surge a nightmare

Situated within walking distance of the centre in a quiet side street, the Macia Gran Via is modern and offers a very professional service. The receptionists spoke good English and gave good advice. There was no electrical socket in the bedroom, however, and the hotel has very few parking spaces in the nearby car park.

Would have appreciated lower cost WiFi internet service by the hour. The shelf above the bed prevented one from sitting up in bed to watch TV. Buffet breakfast was average, though having a buffet was nice. Desk staff who initially greeted us was not too welcoming, and they did not give us a double bed, though this had been specified in the booking. Rest of staff were helpful though.

Good sized rooms, very good position,basic headboard which we kept bumping our heads on. Awful paintings on wall in hotel room. Bath room good except for position of soap tray again bumped head on it painful!!!! Food in dining room left a lot to be desired.

We are now looking for a hotel in London, 2-3 star, from the 18th to the 25th January, in the Oxford Street area (double bed with bathroom). Any advice pls? Thks
