On arrival the hostal was locked with some building work going on round the back. There was a telephone number on the door which I rang. I was told my party had been transfered to the Dona Lupa hostal. After 3 more calls trying to locate the dona lupa we finally found it and to be polite it was disgusting, dirty and I could go on for ever, ie no telly plaster hanging off walls, dirty bathroom no plugs no toilet paper no bar. And to make things worse rooms were advertised at 18 euros per night for a double room and I paid 36 euros double room per night. I can honestly say it ruined our visit to granada. I am looking to visit almeria in august with another party But unless I received some sort of compensation or a guarentee that I wont be let down again I dont think I would book through hoteclubnet again. I have photographic evidence should anyone require it.

The name of the place as listed is incorrect, as is the address. The real name is Pension Dona Lupe according to the sign on the hotel. Location is on Avenida del Generalife, I believe. The address listed on the website was for Calle Pena Partida, which doesn´t appear to exist in Granada. Please change this! Other comments: very basic accomodations. Bring soap and prepare for pretty spartan living, although to roof deck pool with a view of Granada is wonderful.

There was a smell of drains outside the hostal and in the lobby (but not in the room). The hostal was unmanned (so no comments above on Facilities and Service) but it suited our needs and was fine. But at no time during the booking process was I told that I needed to go to the Posada Dona Lupe to collect my keys! so it was a shock to arrive and find the hostal locked. The only instructions shown at the hostal were to ring a certain telephone nbr, which is daunting when you are in a foreign country. There needs to be a NOTICE in English, French etc telling people to go up the hill to the Dona Lupe to collect their keys.
