I recommend that you should emphasise to your guests who are visiting the castle the importance of the time on their ticket. We missed our entry by 5 minutes due to the long queues for head phones and the long clime to the castle from the ticket office. We were made to buy new tickets! having booked ours months in advance. We were not happy and felt it was vey unfare.

Excellent hotel. Superb views over Granada. Five minutes walk from the entrance to the Alhambra yet not part of the normal cluster of cheap gift shops and hotels normally associated with the entrances to major attractions.

Fantastic hotel, loved the decor & wonderful views over the city. only downside was that the rooms are not sound proofed & a lot of noise can be heard from adjoining rooms, hall & pipes so bring some ear plugs! Definately worth the money though & wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Superb position for visiting the Alahmbra Palace, good restaurants in the vicinity. Great views from the hotel. Control of hot water when showering is appalling and extremely dangerous. Staff excellent, great room service...having spent 4 weeks touring Spain would rate tis hotel as a little overpriced for its facilities...living a little on past glories.

well the hotel was absolutely beautiful and in a lovely location, (though a little tricky to find for just the last couple of minutes). My room was lovely and the facilities great, even the sheets felt wonderful, and the view was amazing! I would say that the saying- the more you pay the less you get- is true. I was a little disappointed that I had to pay for the piped music, 15e for a film, room service ended at 11.30pm etc. But the wine we ordered was lovely and the mini bar was handy!!.......If you want to feel as if you are staying somewhere special, with a little of the Alhambra, definitely stay here....it´s certainly special.

1st 2nd and 3rd floors have been beautifully remodeled. Our room was lovely- a little small but beautiful. Service was good. Common areas were lovely. Restaurant was good. Location was excellent. A short walk to the Alhambra. This hotel is located on the same hill as the Alhambra. Views overlook the Granda area from many rooms and the dining and bar area.

This is a great spot for atmosphere and access to the Alhambra, particularly if you have reserved early morning tickets. The view over the town is a selling feature of the hotel. The placa below the hotel and immediate area has some interesting restaurants and bars. The only shortcoming of the stay were the overheated rooms [we were there just before Christmas and the heating controls seemed to have little effect] and the charge for internet access. I was also a bit put off by the sign at the breakfast buffet that warned of harsh penalties for pinching food to take away. I guess this is a problem at the height of tourist season given the lack of deli''s and bars in the area for purchasing food for an Alhambra tour. Still, for a hotel in this price range........

Staying in the hotel is an experience in itself. It's just about as close to the Alhambra as you could possibly get but, even if the Alhambra weren't there at all, you'd want to stay here for the view of Granada and the distant hills...sitting on the balcony at sunset...simply idyllic!

The room had a nice view but got very warm during the day even though it was only in March. Therefore, the fact that the a/c didn't quite work was a little annoying and I can only imagine what it would be like in summer! In general the service was excellent but when we ordered fruits for dessert in the restaurant after dinner, we were not expecting a basket of bananas, oranges and kiwi fruits all uncut and unpeeled!
