My husband and I stayed for 2 nights,we had a superior room, the view to the gardens was lovely. The bed was not very superior though! I had to ask for breakfast tea as only herbal was supplied in the room. Also there seemed to be ration on bath towels,one in bathroom and one packed in plastic bag,in case was needed, strange as there were two of us in the room. Health suite was nice all needs catered for. Breakfast ok,same for evening meal

The hotel was run down, the paint work peeling, the rooms dark, the cleanliness poor. I have never slept in a worse bed, it sloped to the side & back towards the headboard, the mattress was lumpy. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. This hotel needs a major makeover.

Rooms too hot. Would be ideal if a mirror was placed in the rooms above the dressing table where the hair dryer is.

A beautiful old house, in sweeping grounds, standardised by being a member of a hotel chain. Staff were well-trained and functional, rather than truly friendly. The restaurant purported to be better than the food proved it actually was. It lacked style and grace, as well as flavour sometimes. There was some lack of choice at breakfast in terms of fruit, breads, preserves, etc. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Excellent large white towels and very good shower.

A very good hotel for exploring the cotswold. However beware of the other Ramada hotel in glouster which can only be described as very poor with much of the fabric falling down or badly maintained.

Comparing this Hotel against it's competitors the food and service was not worth the costs involved. A lift would have been a good idea and improved the adequate service as opposed to trudging through endless stairs and corridors.
