The hotel is in a great location, is clean and affordable. However, we were very rudely awoken at 8am by a cacophony of drills and hammers. It would have been nice to be warned about this at check in. Other than this, a pleasant stay.

The room we were given was extremely small. It was difficult to move around in the room without having climb over the bed. The heating system was aged and faulty and made a variety of loud noises which kept us awake for most of the night. We were on the 5th floor - I believe this was because we booked through an agency as opposed to the Hotel itself. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Lady on reception was not welcoming and uninformative - we were very disappointed with her attitude. All bar and breakfast staff and gentleman on recpetion were very helpful and pleasant and really made our stay enjoyable, thank you. The breakfasts were good with a nice choice.
