Excellent hotel, clean, smart, central, everything you could ask for. Stayed for a conference and the facilities were excellent.

We stayed in the Radisson on our wedding night in one of the corner suites. My fiance checked in earlier in the day and the staff were extremely helpful and brought the bags up to the room for him. TheRead more suite itself was gorgeous-- spacious with a living area with flat screen tv, sleeping area with bed and another flat screen, desk, big lovely bathroom with bath and shower (and heated mirrors). Lovely fluffy bathrobes in the room. The staff had left us a bottle of chilled champagne which was a lovely touch. Some noise from the other rooms but I was too knackered to let it bother me.

The breakfast was one the best I've had-- it was a buffet but you could get eggs and omlettes made to order in front of you. And unlike most hotel buffets, everything was HOT and FRESH. Absolutely delicious.

The only thing I can fault this property on is its location-- during the day fine but arriving at 12am after our wedding the streets (and lifts) were flooded with stumbling drunks. Not much the hotel can do about this (it is Glasgow on a Saturday night) but it did cut the classy element a bit!!

I've stayed here at least twice now and each time I'm impressed with the level of service that the staff offer. They're always friendly and seem happy to help. All hotels can suffer with a below par individualRead more in the team, but so far not with this hotel.

The rooms are nice enough though not anything too special. Some rooms face out over Central Station and these can be a bit noisy - it depends how long you spend in there and how quickly you get to sleep. The lifts are unique - you'll see.

The hotel's main bar is bright and airy, but lacks atmosphere. The Collage Bar is open to the public but seems to attract few non-resident customers. They make a very good Martini and have some comfortable little booths to chill out in. The music was a great mix of nostalgic and unfamiliar.

I can recommend the tapas restaurant (accessed through the hotel or from the side street). They are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and keen for you to enjoy your visit. Although not the cheapest place to eat in Glasgow (a city with a huge choice of venues) you will get excellent quality and decent portions. Their wines are very good too. We spent an hour or two getting drunk, eating lovely food and never felt that we had outstayed our welcome.

Breakfast in the hotel is one of the best I've had in any hotel; a huge selection of hot and cold dishes covering almost every European option. They also serve breakfast until about 2pm on Sundays (compared the expensive Churchill in London that virtually kicked us out at noon).

Get a good deal on the room and you'll be getting a very good value for money little holiday.
