Excellent hotel for first night arrival from the airport; friendly staff. Old style hotel and rooms but made up for by the fine portico entrance,garden and swimming pool.Generous self serve breakfast

As the hotel is on the outskirts of Gerona, I would imagine access to the city without your own transport to be awkward, but the airport is in easy reach of the hotel, which suited our needs perfectly.

The road system in the Girona area is complex and there is much construction work. It would be helpful if the hotel supplied a clear map showing the precice location of the hotel in relation to all branches of the N11.

If only for one night, we enjoyed the stay very much. Nice large room fully equiped bathroom with clean utensils and towels. The staff was very obliging and we had a very good evening meal for a very reasonable price. The breakfast was good, there was plenty to choose from. If ever we go to that region again we will surely stay there again.

Only two things whoch were a little disappointing: (a) The bar is not open in the winter months, despite quite a few guests staying (b) Hot water was not always available - we learnt to have showers at less obvious times. Otherwise fine - if in Girona again, we might well stay there. Gardens/pool looked great, even in January!

The rooms were very basic despite being quite costly, however they were very clean. We were told upon arrival that the bar was closed, but that a minibar in the room was available, yet others were being served. Individual members of staff were very helpful, especially with directions and travel information. They spoke English very well. The hotel is quite a distance from the city centre so a taxi is essential. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel has a simple internet service which is free to residents.
