The rooms are too small and too expensive. The beds are uncomfortable. If you pay more than 30 Euros a night you will be disappointed.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, just a couple of minutes walk to the main train station- (it is also in the middle of the red light district- but the area is safe even for a woman alone). The staff were friendly and courteous and they serve a great breakfast. My only qualm was with my bed- which was uncomfortably soft.

location was good as it was only a ten minute walk form the main shopping area howeer it was in the red light district of the city so not for the kids

It took over 1 hour for me and my wife to get into our room. The hotel receptionist could not make one of those hotel room cards for our room. She tried two different room keys. We sat in the hallway to our room humiliated looking like a couple of beggars. Finally one of the owners came with a Master Key and let us in explaining that any time we wanted to leave or go back in to our room we would have to ask the receptionist to unlock the door. She suddenly realized that our lights would not work in our room without a key in the light switch which is typically in overseas hotels to save energy. The owner’s solution was to give us the Master Key saying that she felt she could trust us. I felt uneasy with the Master Key to everyone’s room but it was getting late and my wife had a headache from not eating on time. The owner also stated that her husband would generously compensate us in the morning for all our trouble. The owner said nothing in the morning and there was no compensation.
